How I work

  1. Across objects, services and systems

Trained in product design, then transformation design at The Glasgow School of Art, I move between one person’s experience and the system around it.

  2. A second practice in photography and film

I photograph wherever I go, and I shoot and edit films: the promotional films, teacher interviews and a documentary for a university–industry design competition, and the film for my BA graduation exhibition. Framing a shot is how I learned to look at a situation.

  3. AI as a medium, and a question

I set up agentic workflows in Claude Code and Codex: written project rules, reusable skills, and a point where I review before anything goes out. Midjourney and Seedance for images and video. My MDes research asked what consent means when creative work is reused by AI.

    • This websiteDesigned by me, built with Claude Code and Codex under written rules and a decision log, over 400 commits since September.

Education, experience and skills are in my CV.

A real project anchors the conversation. Seven stages run from research to communication. Place tokens on or between stages to mark where AI felt involved, then choose the stage you thought longest about.
